The City of Columbia is completing storm drainage and water distribution improvements in the Cottontown Historic District. TheFall 2017 project will include installation of larger diameter storm drainage pipe, new water main as well as roadway resurfacing. The project is being completed within the existing Right of Way and strives to maintain the character of the Cotton Historic District.  The estimated construction duration is 300 days and will be completed in a block by block approach to minimize impacts to residents. Two public information meetings have been held with the most recent including a brief presentation by the City at the Cottontown Spring Gathering on May 8th with an opportunity to meet with the project team.
